General Availability: Experience-Driven NetOps,
DX NetOps 22.2

by: Jeremy Rossbach

DX NetOps 22.2 continues to deliver our industry-leading visibility, scale and modern network coverage...now beyond the network edge to quickly and easily isolate end-user experience impact of managed or unmanaged network changes.

On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. With the latest release of our network monitoring and digital experience monitoring software, we are introducing Experience-Driven NetOps that takes network visibility to the new enterprise network, expanding beyond the network edge to ISP and cloud providers. These industry-first capabilities will enable teams to “operationalize the new enterprise network,” focus on user experience and avoid chasing utilization spikes. This latest release will transform NOC triage and response times by bringing digital experience to the forefront of Network Operations across traditional and SDx networks, on-premise or in the cloud, and across the WAN.

Experience-Driven NetOps consists of:

  • DX NetOps 22.2 network monitoring software:

-Triage the user experience in-context to the offending device, interface or VNF, for fast root cause.
-Use standard operating procedures for intelligent symptoms, probable cause, and recommended actions          takes the guesswork out of triaging user experience network delivery issues.
  • Protect the Digital Experience with high-scale visibility and fault tolerant data collection beyond the network edge and into ISP and cloud providers:
-Real-time alarm information for network path changes affecting user experience.
-Health score cards for capacity, data and voice performance across network paths.

-Baseline critical path performance metrics over time to identify user experience bottlenecks.

This latest release of our AppNeta digital experience monitoring delivers the following capabilities:

  • Automatic User Geolocation. Know where users are to isolate the scope of issues and correlate issues affecting multiple users.
  • Performance Indexed by Username and Hostname. Get troubleshooting and reporting on performance issues in the context of the users affected without any overhead.
