CA Workload Automation Extensions Enable Agile, End-to-End Cloud Orchestration

You can now use modern, innovative plug-in extensions installed on top of our application services plug-in to deliver seamless, unified cloud automation.
Broadcom currently supports the following cloud applications:
- Apache Airflow

- Cloud Foundry
- Databricks
- DBT
- GCP
- BigQuery
- Kubernetes (all flavors)
- Oracle Cloud (ERP Cloud ESS, HCM, BI Publisher)
- SAP on Demand
- Workday
For example, Airflow has several pre-built connectors to other cloud-based applications and utilities. Still, you have to define workflows (DAGs) in Python. Although this step is not difficult for an application developer well-versed in the language, not everyone has these skills. To successfully operate these schedules in production, you need far more from an automation perspective. You have to be able to:
- Define execution criteria based on corporate calendars.
- Suspend workflows quickly.
- Define predecessor requirements from elsewhere in the enterprise.
- Manage the end-to-end processing from a single perspective.
These and many more items are missing from the Airflow solution, and these shortcomings become obstacles to ensuring smooth delivery of service to the business. These challenges are common across the cloud-based applications and automation capabilities cloud vendors provide.
