Automic® Automation is a leading enterprise automation solution, developed over 25 years to deliver the scale, agility, speed, and reliability demanded by top Fortune 100 companies. This unified platform offers a broad range of integrations for cloud services, data pipeline tools, ERP systems, and more, enabling seamless automation from mainframe to microservices.
Broadcom has now been recognized as a Leader in the first-ever Gartner Magic Quadrant for Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms (SOAP), published in September 2024.
In our opinion, the recognition by Gartner as a Magic Quadrant Leader reinforces Broadcom’s R&D approach:
- Cloud Integrations: Establishing a dedicated Integration Factory Team and Automation Marketplace to standardize and accelerate delivery of high quality cloud integrations our customers need during their digital transformation.
- Automic SaaS: Ensuring customers get the same scale of operation, rich functionality and ease of use, regardless of the deployment model they choose.
- Observability & Intelligence: Turn workload data into actionable insights to improve service delivery.
Gartner defines the SOAP market as “encompassing solution suites that deliver capabilities enabling organizations to manage workloads, workflows, resource provisioning and data pipelines across their technology landscapes”.
SOAPs, as defined by Gartner, “expand the role of traditional workload automation by adapting to use cases that deliver and extend into data pipelines, cloud-native infrastructures and application architectures. These tools not only complement and integrate with DevOps toolchains, but also significantly enhance customer-focused agility, cost savings, operational efficiency and process standardization.”
This topic is particularly important to Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) leaders, as the rise of hybrid environments and the increasing demand for seamless orchestration between IT and business processes make automation a critical factor for success. The fragmentation of automation services during digital transformations and cloud adoption has hindered companies' ability to deliver quality services. Re-establishing a platform approach to automation provides significant benefits to businesses.
The Gartner® report states, "By 2027, 90% of organizations currently delivering workload automation will be using service orchestration and automation platforms (SOAPs) to orchestrate workloads and data pipelines in hybrid environments across IT and business domains."
At Broadcom, our mission is to help organizations reimagine their automation strategies. Our commitment is to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world. As businesses continue to adapt to cloud-native infrastructures and the broader automation of workflows, Automation by Broadcom stands ready to guide enterprises through their journey to achieve greater business outcomes.
