    Businesses today are experiencing an unforeseen and unprecedented rate of change that shows no signs of slowing. Natural growth and evolution are being replaced by deliberate business transformation. Sometimes, those transformations are focused on technology, such as digital transformations. Sometimes those transformations are more focused on process, such as an Agile transformation. Often, organizations pursue both. Regardless of the focus, all enterprise transformation is centered around, and dependent on, people and their work. Any successful transformation requires the effective collaboration, engagement, and motivation of those people. It requires the fostering of effective collaboration between individuals and across teams.

    What You Will Learn

    The way that people work together has changed substantially in the last few years. Accelerated by the disruptive influence of the pandemic, collaboration models have had to adapt to a more remote and distributed approach. This requires embracing dispersed workforces, while still recognizing that co-location is an essential part of many industries and environments.  Now, many organizations’ workforces are returning to office locations and adopting different hybrid models, giving rise to what we now refer to as “new ways of working.” These approaches seek to foster effective collaboration in these emerging environments and are designed to improve business outcomes through more effective and efficient collaboration among workers and teams across different locations and work environments.

    By promoting collaboration, organizations realize a range of benefits. Through effective collaboration, teams can establish a more customer-centric environment, one in which employees are highly engaged in delivering value to customers. In addition, effective collaboration can help reduce employee turnover, resulting in greater retention of talent, which benefits both employees and employers. This is especially true when hybrid working models are supported by development and learning programs that assist both office and remote workers.
