    Introduction

This learning path is tailored specifically for Automic Automation operators who already have foundational knowledge about Automic Automation and want to deepen their skills in monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting automation workflows. This path focuses on the operational aspects of Automic Automation, such as task management, process supervision, and root cause analysis. It provides critical knowledge about the four phases of object execution—Activation, Generation, Processing, and Completion—to help operators understand and effectively manage task execution. Unlike introductory paths, this learning path does not cover basic fundamentals but instead addresses the practical needs of operators for maintaining efficient and reliable automation operations. The content, originally aligned with previous versions, remains fully relevant to the current version, ensuring users can apply these operational best practices to the latest platform release.

Automic Automation: The Anatomy of Task Execution

In Automic Automation, objects undergo four phases when you execute them: Activation, Generation, Processing and Completion. As a developer and object designer, it is key that you understand what happens in each phase to be able to configure your executable objects properly. This video-based course explains in detail the execution phases and their individual steps.

    Automic Automation: Task Management

This course introduces you to the tools you need to supervise and manage processes, perform root cause analysis and react to abnormal situations in Automic Automation. While this course addresses all user profiles, it is specially useful for operators and business users.
