SAN JOSE, Calif., May 22, 2024 – ValueOps by Broadcom has been named a leader and outperformer in this year’s GigaOm Radar Report for Value Stream Management (VSM). The GigaOm Radar report examines 14 top VSM solutions and evaluates their capabilities and business requirements to identify the leading VSM offerings. ValueOps by Broadcom outperforms nearly all other solutions in comparing key features GigaOm considers differentiating, critical, and emerging features.
The report authors state, “Again this year, Broadcom is a Leader in the Maturity/Platform Play quadrant. It is an Outperformer, particularly with the strong integration of ConnectALL into the ValueOps Platform. It strongly resonates with today’s business and agile engineering needs.”
Market analysis
The GigaOm Radar report highlights the significance of VSM for today’s organizations and notes that business value needs to be predicated on process efficiency. While engineering management is focused on visibility and control of the software development and delivery process, business leaders are concerned with measuring how those outputs deliver value to the business.
The report notes a “bifurcation between higher-level VSM for business strategy and today’s very real need to improve engineering efficiency.” Those vendors that offer support for both, like ValueOps, are positioned on the Platform Play side of the Radar chart.

ValueOps by Broadcom offers key differentiation
In its analysis of ValueOps by Broadcom, the GigaOm Radar report notes, “Broadcom’s ValueOps is designed to connect strategic planning with execution across the enterprise.”
Key differentiators include:
- Comprehensive tooling — ValueOps tooling works from strategy to execution. From Clarity’s portfolio management capabilities to Rally’s ability to deliver data from multiple sources and out-of-the-box dashboards to support agile workflows to ConnectALL’s universal adapter to create valuable tooling integrations, ValueOps tooling supports the entire product lifecycle.
- End-to-end data aggregation and visualization — ValueOps incorporates both strategic and value metrics, including OKRs, ROI, DevOps, and Flow, providing a 360-degree view of the enterprise.
- Enhanced agility — ValueOps helps improve the agility of the program office by mapping out investments, providing portfolio management, roadmaps, capacity planning, and resource management, and giving teams the data and autonomy to meet their objectives.
"Customer value is at the center of everything that we do. Our goal is to ensure our customers can overcome their challenges and realize their digital transformation goals. We invest significantly in our solution to ensure that outcome," said Jean-Louis Vignaud, Head of ValueOps, Agile Operations Division, Broadcom.
