Introduction to Jobstream Runs Data Insight
The next data insight I’d like to talk about is the Jobstream Runs Data Insight. This feature allows you to create a filtered view of your jobstream runs, with all the features and functions of data insights becoming available for that view. You can put them on a dashboard, print them, share them with other users, schedule them, and more.
Demonstration of Jobstream Runs Data Insight
Let me do a quick demonstration of the Jobstream Runs Data Insight. If I navigate to the list of data insights within the AAI product, you'll notice there is a type called Jobstream Runs. When I add a new data insight, one of the types I can select is Jobstream Runs.
For example, let’s say I want to see all the jobs currently running late. I can go into the filter section and set it to display data from the last 24 hours to the next 24 hours. I’ll specify an SLA status of "Late" and a state of "Running." These filters will show all jobstream runs currently running and predicted to miss their SLAs.
I save and run this, and immediately I get a list of all jobstream runs predicted to miss their SLAs.
Adding to the dashboard
Once I’ve created this data insight, I can add it to my dashboard. If I navigate to the Dashboard tab, I can select one of my subtabs or create a new one. Then, I add a new widget, navigate to my Jobstream Runs Data Insights, select the "Currently Running Late" insight I just created, and add it to the page.
Now it’s available as a widget on this dashboard page, providing real-time visibility into jobstream runs that are at risk of missing their SLAs.
This is a quick look at the Jobstream Runs Data Insight. Of course, you can apply your own filters, share these with other users, and further customize the insights to meet your needs.
