AppNeta: Introducing the Intelligent Alarms Experience

Learn how to use the new Intelligent Alarms experience in AppNeta, including new metrics, new user workflows, new user interfaces, and the new thresholding, event, and alarm system. These updates provide Network Operations Center teams with information to prioritize and solve user-impacting issues, even when the problem is in a third-party network.

The course was last updated to align with AppNeta version 19.6.0.

After taking this course, you should be able to:

• Recall the purpose and benefits of alarms in AppNeta.
• Differentiate between alarms in the new Intelligent Alarms experience and alerts in the classic AppNeta experience.
• Explain new concepts, including alarms, alarm rules, noise filters, frequent alarms, burst alarms, alarm severity, test errors, monitoring status, and active alarm status.
• Toggle between the new Intelligent Alarms experience and the classic AppNeta experience.
• Locate pages in the new navigation menu. Use the Alarm Summary page for a historical understanding of alarm distribution and top offenders.
• Use the Alarm Console page for a view of individual alarms, including currently active and cleared alarms.
