In today’s dynamic digital landscape, the performance of your automation is directly tied to the performance of your business. But business doesn't operate on a simple, static schedule. It has a rhythm—a unique cadence of daily, weekly, and monthly cycles. We are thrilled to announce the release of Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) 24.3, a landmark release designed to empower you to manage your automation with a new level of precision that perfectly aligns with the true rhythm of your business.
This release delivers two major advancements that provide unparalleled operational control. These new capabilities cement AAI's position as the definitive, purpose-built analytics platform for the mission-critical automation that keeps the modern enterprise running.
Master your service levels with context-aware SLAs
Your critical workflows often have different service level requirements depending on the day. For example, a process that must be completed before the start of business on a weekday might have a more flexible deadline over the weekend. Traditional, one-size-fits-all SLAs fail to capture this business context, creating unnecessary alerting noise or, worse, failing to provide alerts when they are most needed.
With AAI 24.3, we have evolved SLA management to reflect the reality of your operational schedules. For a single business process, you can now define multiple, prioritized SLAs and apply them automatically based on the day of the week. This allows you to configure a strict completion time for business days and a more flexible one for weekends, all within a single, elegant policy.
Plus, we are enabling more proactive risk management. Each day-specific SLA can be individually configured with alerts on the business process’ start time, empowering you to detect and resolve potential service delivery issues even earlier. This enables you to move from a reactive to a proactive posture, so you can confidently and efficiently ensure critical deadlines are met.
Unify your hybrid landscape with expanded Airflow support
As organizations increasingly adopt cloud-native technologies, maintaining a single, unified view of automation becomes a significant challenge. We are committed to providing complete visibility across your entire hybrid-cloud data pipeline.
Building on our existing support, AAI 24.3 introduces full, seamless integration for AWS Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA). You can now integrate your cloud-managed Airflow DAGs directly into AAI, eliminating operational silos. This means the same deep predictive analytics, end-to-end business process visibility, and centralized reporting you rely on now, can all be extended to your Airflow deployments. This provides a single, powerful observability platform to manage your entire, complex automation landscape.
Powerful improvements, inspired by you
We are committed to evolving AAI to meet your needs, and this release includes a host of community-requested enhancements designed to improve analytics, administration, and performance. You can now capitalize on these advantages:
- Gain deeper, more flexible analytics. Tap into richer, at-a-glance information with new statistics columns on the jobs page and perform longer-term analysis in business process insights. You can also now report on jobs that started within a given interval, not just those that ended, providing a more accurate view of workload execution.
- Benefit from core engine improvements. We've enhanced user security through improved eEM integration, enabled access to a greater depth of historical AutoSys audit data, and delivered a more accurate and higher performing forecasting engine for CA7.
With AAI 24.3, you have more power, control, and insight to manage your entire automation estate than ever before. We are excited to see how you will leverage these new capabilities to propel your business.
