What You Will Learn
Good decisions depend on good information reaching the right people at the right moment. Clarity brings project, resource, financial, and operational data together in one place, giving organizations a single, trusted foundation to plan, track, and act on. Within Clarity, Reporting is what turns that foundation into something usable, transforming data from a Data Provider into reports people can genuinely read, question, and rely on.
This course zooms in on one piece of that experience: Report Designer, the tool where a report actually takes shape. It's a no-code, canvas-based environment built for turning a prepared Data Provider into a finished, purposeful report, one shaped by real decisions about layout, widgets, filters, and structure, not just default settings.
Personas in Focus
This course is built around two key personas:
-
Report designer—A power user or PMO analyst who builds reports directly in Report Designer, connecting Data Providers, configuring widgets and metrics, and designing dashboards that answer real business questions.
-
Report consumer or business stakeholder—A PMO head, manager, project sponsor, or business user who relies on published reports for decision-making, and whose experience is shaped entirely by the choices a report designer makes.
What You Will Earn
Upon course completion, you will receive a badge and a course completion certificate.
Course Objectives
Through hands-on interactive simulations, instructional videos, and step-by-step guided practice, you will learn to:
- Build and structure—Create reports from Data Providers and organize tabs using responsive and fixed layouts.
- Visualize and filter—Add visual widgets, configure Attribute Groups, and apply multi-level filtering (report, tab, widget, and interactive).
- Extend and connect—Configure drill-down flows and subreports to support multi-level business analysis.
- Manage and export—Edit, reuse, and manage published reports, and export a report's design or output for wider use.
