    Course Objectives

    At the end of this course you will be able to:

    • Configure a parallel v26 file system by duplicating and preparing component directories for the Automation Engine, Utilities, and Web Interface.
    • Synchronize configuration settings between versions by migrating and updating .ini and .properties files, including SQL driver connections and JCP port offsets.
    • Execute the System Upgrade Wizard to load v26 data structures and initiate compatibility and parallel processing modes.
    • Manage the transition of Agents and Users from the base version to the target version through the Automic Web Interface.
    • Validate a successful upgrade by monitoring process logs and clearing active executions before committing to the new version.
