Introduction to the Filter Assistant
Let’s talk about the Filter Assistant, introduced in version 24 of AAI. The Filter Assistant is the first generative AI feature embedded into the AAI product. It allows users to perform natural language-based filtering in all areas where filtering is available within the AAI web UI. Users have the option to opt in or opt out of this functionality as they prefer.
Demonstration of the Filter Assistant
Here we are on the Jobstream Runs Grid View within AAI. Standard filter options are available, but now, above all these options, you'll notice the AI Filter Assistant choice. If I select it, I can describe using natural language what I’m interested in viewing in the Jobstream Runs Grid View.
For example, I might say, “I’m interested in looking at financial services job streams that have issued alerts.” When I click Add, it will automatically create filters for me. In this case, it found:
- Business Area = Financial Services
- Number of Alerts > zero
I can further customize these filters, but this was a quick and easy way to build the filters I wanted without having to navigate a complex user interface to select a business area or other parameters.
Availability of the Filter Assistant
The Filter Assistant is available everywhere these filter chips exist within the product. You’ll see it here on the Jobstream Runs Grid View. It is also available on Jobstream Definitions. When you click on the filter option, you’ll see the AI Filter Assistant at the top.
Additionally, the Filter Assistant is accessible in several other places as you navigate through the product.
