On February 1, Broadcom Inc. announced its completed acquisition of AppNeta. AppNeta’s combination of active and passive, vendor-agnostic network performance monitoring arms enterprise IT teams with an end-to-end understanding of network performance from the end-user perspective, which is critical as enterprises modernize their workforce and transform their network architectures for a decentralized future.
AppNeta builds on Broadcom's heritage of network monitoring and is an ideal complement to Broadcom’s current set of DX NetOps solutions, which are used by enterprises and cloud service providers to analyze and optimize the performance of traditional and software-defined architectures.
Together, Broadcom Software and AppNeta enable comprehensive modern network monitoring in order to deliver a superior digital experience to our customers, anywhere.

SAN JOSE, Calif., February 1, 2022 — Broadcom Inc. (Nasdaq: AVGO), today announces its completed acquisition of AppNeta.
Paired together, DX NetOps and AppNeta enable network operations teams to monitor and improve performance over all networks, including internet-based access methods that are so prevalent for remote workers and SaaS-based apps today.
“The modern network is no longer confined to a single location or office. The internet is the new network, and it is borderless, mobile, and constantly evolving. Network operations teams must have visibility into network performance at all points along the way,” said Serge Lucio, vice president and general manager, Agile Operations Division, Broadcom Software. “The combination of DX NetOps and AppNeta enables teams to monitor, identify and address network performance issues quickly and efficiently to optimize customers’ digital experience.”
Broadcom will integrate AppNeta within AIOps and Observability product suite by Broadcom Software to provide IT teams at the world’s largest enterprises with a single platform to understand who is using which applications, how they are performing, and how the application delivery chain may impact performance or quality of service.
