General Availability: Experience-Driven NetOps, DX NetOps 22.2

DX NetOps 22.2 continues to deliver our industry-leading visibility, scale and modern network coverage...now beyond the network edge to quickly and easily isolate end-user experience impact of managed or unmanaged network changes.

With the latest release of our network monitoring and digital experience monitoring software, we are introducing Experience-Driven NetOps that takes network visibility to the new enterprise network, expanding beyond the network edge to ISP and cloud providers. These industry-first capabilities will enable teams to “operationalize the new enterprise network,” focus on user experience and avoid chasing utilization spikes. This latest release will transform NOC triage and response times by bringing digital experience to the forefront of Network Operations across traditional and SDx networks, on-premise or in the cloud, and across the WAN.

Experience-Driven NetOps consists of:

  • DX NetOps 22.2 network monitoring software:
         -DX NetOps Performance Management
         -DX NetOps Spectrum
         -DX NetOps Virtual Network Assurance
         -DX NetOps Network Flow Analysis
         -DX NetOps Mediation Manager
  • AppNeta digital experience monitoring

This latest release of our DX NetOps network monitoring software enables network operations to:

  • Innovate at Scale with continuous, high-scale, end-to-end network delivery monitoring and validation of user experiences over modern network architectures with expanded support for:
         -Fortinet SD-WAN
         -Cisco DNA*
         -VMware NSX-T SDDC
         -Meraki vMX & Z3C Gateways
         -Aruba Wi-Fi*
         -AppNeta Network Path integration*
  • Optimize Operations by prioritizing network operations triage based on experience metrics for enhanced isolation of network performance impacts on the user experience:
         -Delivering industry-first user experience metrics, network path analytics and active testing for advanced          NOC troubleshooting of end-user experience issues.
         -Triage the user experience in-context to the offending device, interface or VNF, for fast root cause.
         -Use standard operating procedures for intelligent symptoms, probable cause, and recommended actions          takes the guesswork out of triaging user experience network delivery issues.
  • Protect the Digital Experience with high-scale visibility and fault tolerant data collection beyond the network edge and into ISP and cloud providers:
         -Real-time alarm information for network path changes affecting user experience.
         -Health score cards for capacity, data and voice performance across network paths.
         -Isolate problems/shield network teams with hop-by-hop delivery path visibility from wireless, WAN, ISP or        cloud providers.
         -Baseline critical path performance metrics over time to identify user experience bottlenecks.

This latest release of our AppNeta digital experience monitoring delivers the following capabilities:

  • Automatic User Geolocation. Know where users are to isolate the scope of issues and correlate issues affecting multiple users.
  • Performance Indexed by Username and Hostname. Get troubleshooting and reporting on performance issues in the context of the users affected without any overhead.
  • Advanced Host Information. Automatic collection of details about the OS and patch level, storage system, CPU, Memory and other key system resources to expedite user experience troubleshooting of issues on a user's computer.
