Large Language Models (LLMs) are revolutionizing how knowledge workers operate, offering exponential improvements in accessing relevant information. This transformative technology is changing how we research, learn, and make informed decisions.

To harness this power, we're excited to introduce our generative AI-powered knowledge assistant as a beta feature for Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI). This innovative feature will significantly improve how users access learning content and enhance productivity while working with AAI.

Read on to find out how this intelligent automation assistant helps customers get the most out of AAI to improve automation service delivery for their business.

Conversations using language processing capabilities of Gen AI

Does it bother you to search multiple sources of information to answer a specific question?

With the intelligent automation assistant, your interactions are going to be conversational and you’ll get pertinent responses based on the context of your questions relating to AAI. You don’t have to search multiple sources to get what you want. All you need to do is ask the intelligent assistant a question. You are provided with the required information in an instant.

Don’t like learning and following a different set of rules each time you have a conversation with a new AI assistant?

The language processing capabilities of Gen AI help AAI’s intelligent assistant comprehend and respond to natural language questions. This eliminates the need for users to learn specific commands or keywords, enhancing user experience.

To access the intelligent automation assistant, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Help icon on the top right of the AAI interface.

    The integrated help panel appears.
  2. Click the assistant icon from the help bar as shown below.
  3. The assistant appears. Start your conversations!

Contextual recommendations

Stop getting frustrated with multiple search results that don’t give you the exact answers you seek.

The intelligent assistant offers contextual information, recommendations, and suggestions based on user interactions and preferences. Learning how to add a job stream is just a conversation away. The assistant accesses the most pertinent resources, such as automation product documentation, knowledge base articles, or video tutorials, and presents you with what you need.

Multilingual support

Can I talk to the assistant in a language I am comfortable with - other than English - and get my answers in the desired language

Absolutely! The assistant can seamlessly translate answers into the same language you ask the question (even if the source knowledge is in English), supports multiple languages, and can switch between languages during conversations, so you can awlays interact naturally in your preferred language. The responses are truly impressive. And even though AAI product documentation is written in English, the assistant translates it on the fly into your chosen language, making learning and usage a breeze.

Continuous improvement

The assistant improves accuracy through constant learning and adaptation to ensure that the information in AAI is always relevant and accurate.

Conclusion

The intelligent assistant represents transformative technology that will reshape users’ engagement with AAI. As technology continues to evolve, the potential for our intelligent assistant is a game changer in revolutionizing information dissemination. We are constantly invested in updating and improving the functionalities of our intelligent assistant independent of product releases.

The assistant delivers knowledge content by understanding and processing various knowledge sources made available by Broadcom and does not use users' or customers' data for LLM interactions.

What's next for the intelligent automation assistant?

This is just the beginning. The assistant will evolve with new features such as:

  • Nudges. The assistant will suggest questions to move users forward in their automation learning journey.
  • Conversational experiences. The assistant will be capable of creating threads from conversations to retain context from previous sessions. It will remain available when the conversation next resumes.
  • Intelligent assistive actions. The natural progression of this conversational experience will lead users to perform tasks quickly by augmenting summarization, completing tasks, filtering desired information, and much more within the context of their work within AAI. These are indeed the next steps towards democratizing automation in enterprises.

Stay tuned!
